I have a TOPO Great Britain PRO 1:25k installed via micro SD card.
Whilst maps appear on BaseCamp, they do not appear as option in configure maps on unit?
Any advice?
Thanks

Uninstall the street/driving maps using Garman express then it should work fine
Ok thanks
So this is due to a conflict with the City Navigator maps?
Apparently the older garmin GB Discover maps aren't compatible with the new 700 I've had a couple of emails saying so so not sure
I have a Montana 700 and I downloaded the garmin EU cycle map onto a 32GB microsd card in the unit )formatted to fat32) using garmin express. Whatever I do the map does not appear on the units map list but it is on the sd card and the card is recognised by garmin express. The maps show up on my 10 year old garmin Oregon ! Any ideas ?
Hello PUDBEE When did you purchase the Garmin EU cycle map? Depending on when that was and what device you orifinally downloaded the maps to you will need to keep in mind that map downloads from Garmin.com will only work on the original device they are downloaded to. https://www.garmin.com/en-US/legal/map-download/
Hello
Thanks -Yes I only used the maps on that particular device and they were downloaded onto it using Garmin express . I also purchased the same maps on SD card but they do not work either. I believe that the only explanation is that the device is faulty. I am trying to get the retailer to send me an exchange device but they insist that it must be sent away to be tested by Garmin which will take many months . Luckily I used PayPal to buy it and I am using their dispute resolution widget to get a refund .

Please open a support ticket. I doubt that this is a hardware problem with the device. It might be that a "reset to factory settings" would cause the maps to be properly indexed. Or not. Supports staff will be able to advise.
In addition, it is important to understand that certain maps are not visible unless other maps are also enabled. Unfortunately I do not remember the details there. Support would be able to assist with that as well.
PUDBEE I am going to send you a private message to gather some more information. I do not believe this is a hardware issue and we most likely can get it resolved for you.
I also see that there are other forum posts regarding cycle map conflicts. There is some suggestion that the cycle map and something else on the device use the same map ID. Nothing you as the end user can do about that if that is truly the case.
