Montana 700, advice for a case?

has anybody an idea for a suitable case (belt-bag) for the Montana 700?

I bought the Maxpedition Daily Essentials Pack.

Do you guys think this would fit it alright? It's spec'd as 0.2" too short in length, but i think that would just slightly affect how the lid wraps over the top (which is adjustable). I want something…

You’d think a $700 hand held would include a soft case. I just got the 700i and wondered about protecting it during transport. Luckily, I had a Magellan NAV6000 way back in 1999, thrown away long ago. The soft case (zippered top with belt loop) that I kept fits my new 700i perfectly. Hopefully Garmin or 3rd party will come up with something. I’d like perfect sized screen savers as well.

I’ve been searching for a case as well.

I’ve looked around at Best Buy and REI and haven’t found anything great. I’m going to Sportsman’s Warehouse this afternoon to see if they have anything...

As for the screen protector, I like the invisible-shield type glass protectors. Just this last week I had a small crack in the screen protector for my Fenix 6X Pro Solar...

Hi, I contacted Gizmo Vest in the US this week, they have a case under development and said it will be 4 or 5 weeks until it is in production. We have one of these cases for our Montana 600 and I cant rate it highly enough, It has saved lots of bumps and scratches. (it is slightly bulky but it offers superb protection). I would say it is 100% worth waiting for.

I want something that is super basic (don't need a Daily Essentials Pouch with extra pockets, etc.) to attach to my Maxpedition Remora Gearslinger. Looks like the bottom latch strap can be adjusted. If so, this may be perfect!

It's a bit of a snug fit but I think it will work. It works as the closing flap is height adjustable, I think the second case I am waiting for probably won't zip closed.
