Map Update - Garmin Express

When I connect to Garmin Express it tells me that 3 map updates are available for the 700i

I tried letting it update but it keeps telling me that there are map updates available after completing.

The versions on Garmin Express are:

Full Coverage of North America 2021.10 - This matches what is on the 700i

Garmin Public Land Map 2.0 - The 700i doesn't show the version info

Topo Active Americas North 2020.10 - This matches what is on the 700i

I also have the Garmin TOPO US 24K Southwest v3 map micro SD card inserted.

Very honestly it doesn’t work very well with a Mac. I have a MacBook Pro and while the smaller updates work the maps always give me an error if they are the larger ones.

I have a Windows 10 Pro computer…

We are aware of the issue with available map updates continuing to show in Garmin Express after successfully installed on the Montana. I will post here when it's resolved; I don't currently have an estimated…

I have Garmin express 7.2 installed on my Mac. Received the Montana 700i today and while updating the 2 maps, it keeps telling me there was an error updating

I have a Windows 10 Pro computer in my Ham Radio room and use that to update the maps. Same thing with the Garmin Overlander.

Garmin express is having trouble with map installs on multiple devices currently. Will have to wait for Garmin to correct the failure.

Thanks for this topic. I have Express version 7.2.2.0 and yesterday was trying to update a New Zealand new Montana 700i. The software update appeared to be OK but it kept failing to update the pre-loaded maps (TopoActive Australia & NZ as well as Africa South and Africa North. I assumed it was due to my very slow internet connection (laptop via mobile phone) while on holiday.

Same issue here in the USA with Map Installs using same version of Garmin Express and high-speed internet.
