Celluar or wifi connection for Inreach mini 2

Do both the user and the viewer (not travelling together) need a cellular or wifi connection to use Livetrack or Mapshare with an inReach mini 2?

An inReach Mini 2 can send tracking points via satellite; this does not require an internet connection. Viewing LiveTrack or MapShare web pages does require internet service.
