Can you set check-in alarm reminders in the Mini?

I am wanting to set up reminders for the user to send check-ins at certain times or at a waypoint. Is this possible with a Mini at all?

No, the inReach Mini 2 does not have an alarm feature.

What I do sometimes is have 1 mile alerts on my watch, and then decide whether to send a check-in or not. When I'm really cruising I might send one every 2 miles/40 minutes, or in slow sections I might send one every 1 mile because I'm moving under 2 miles per hour.
