Can two InReach devices send tracking information to one another?

If my wife and I both have our own InReach devices, can we track one another if neither of us has cell phone service? Or if I want to track my wife’s InReach, do I need to have cell phone service?

While you aren't able to see each other's MapShare page without internet access, you can send your location to each other and navigate to each other's location just using satellite communication. Instructions…

You can if you send each other messages with location information.

As for the tracking functionality, that is viewable only via the MapShare web page, so for that you would need internet access.
