Noticed that Express offered me update 4.29 for the inReach Mini 2, so I'd thought to share the change log here.

Change Log

Edit: Not yet known because Garmin do not share the changelog until the update has rolled out to 100% of devices (don’t ask me why)

That's actually the change log for 4.28. The change log for 4.29 will be posted when it is rolled out to 100% of devices.

Ok that’s very confusing. Why does Express show the changes in 4.28 as the changelog for 4.29? And why only post the changelog when the update has rolled out to all devices?

Sometimes I really don’t understand how Garmin operates…

And High Detail Activity Recording is still broken in this version.

High Detail Activity Recording does not record in high detail if Auto Track is On, only at extremely coarse 10-minute intervals.

Astonishingly it's now over 3 years since this was first reported. It should be an anniversary party but it's way too depressing for that.
