Earthmate vs Explore with the mini 2? Earthmate, which was the program, I think, that was developed by DeLorme for the InReach, seems to be a lot easier to use than Explorer. Maybe it doesn't have more features, but I've found that Explorer is overloaded with features that don't always work as expected and just add another layer of difficulty remembering how they all work. I just want a straight-forward way to plan backpack trips, then use the mini 2 on the trail with my smartphone for GPS navigation and tracking. I haven't found anything on the Garmin sites that compares the two.
