If the Mini 2 is powered on for the very first time, it will automatically enter pairing mode. If you have skipped this you will need to enter pairing mode manually before you can connect the device to a phone. 

See section 2 (Pairing the inReach Mini 2) in How to Activate an inReach Mini 2 in the Garmin Messenger App on how to do this.

If the phone then still does not find the Mini 2, contact Garmin Support and open a support case.

I did exactly what the video describes but there is no Bluetooth emission in my inreachMini 2. I also tried with other cell phones but no connection is possible with my inreach mini 2. therefore since no cell phone finds the mini Rich on bluetooth and there can be no connection you can not go on with the rest of the instructions. I will return my device purchased on Amazon and ask for a replacement.

Just to be sure, you did put the Mini 2 in pairing mode via the settings menu on the device? If you did and other phones cannot find the Mini 2 when in pairing mode it may be defective.

I paired the mini2 with different phones. The mini2 was in clear pairing mode as per its display. Alone with nothing else paired. All phones can't find the mini2. At this point I think it's faulty

And final check, you also tried to connect with the Mini 2 from within the Garmin Explore app (or Messenger app), and not from the phone's bluetooth menu? If you tried that and it still won't connect then the device may indeed be faulty (it happens sometimes).
