Cannot access mapshare

The mapshare site is unresponsive.

Day before yesterday: all worked properly, albeit slowly.

Yesterday: first attempt waited 45 minutes until the tracking summary appeared, but no tracking points on the map. Refreshed the browser, same thing. Tried another browser, same thing. Refreshed and let it sit all night.

Today: Browser is still showing spinning windmill and no tracking summary ever appeared. Refreshed browser, still spinning.

This is all so very reassuring that I can quickly find someone in the wilderness.

This morning, it appeared to work but I had no recent tracks on the map. The data was available on the left, but no track on the map.

Refreshed and I got "Connection to server is experiencing difficulties…

today, this is still the same, 3 accounts with number of devices, nothing works. Tracking out of order. Mapshare, well this is inop anyway

It figures. Posted this, then tried again. All appears functional now.

mapshare is very unreliable for the past few weeks :)

The same here in Australia ... A loading wheel icon that spins indefinitely . indefinitely.

This morning, it appeared to work but I had no recent tracks on the map. The data was available on the left, but no track on the map.

Refreshed and I got "Connection to server is experiencing difficulties" in red in the top right corner.

Refreshed again and now I'm getting a big spinner on the left and nothing else.

I just went back to that tab and have a map, the large spinner on the left, and "Connection to server lost. Retrying." in the top right.

Refreshed again and I have a map, data, but no track.

Correction on the "no track" statements. I have old tracks (from Feb and Mar 2024), even though the button in the top right says "View All Tracks" (meaning I'm supposed to be seeing only recent tracks).

Can the hosts be overwhelmed on a Sunday morning? What gives?

I have reported the issues and the links to several threads about it to someone from Garmin iR staff in Yarmouth (inReach HQ).
