SAR 100 and Inreach Enabled

I've got SAR 100 insurance in addition to the new Inreach Standard plan (just switched from Recreation Plan (which you could suspend). The new Standard Plan is not suspendable, but rather have an option to drop the "Inreach Enabled".

The question: Will my SAR 100 Insurance still be active when I drop the Inreach device down into just "Enabled"?

I would think so, didn’t you pay extra for it. I think it’s totally separate from any inreach plan you pick.

Yes, I paid separately for the SAR 100 (yearly). It requires a device capable of sending an SOS, which the Inreach actually is, in "Enabled" mode. I just need to have that verified by someone in the know :-)

Even in the old inreach plans, if you suspend your service for a few months, your sar insurance is still a separate item. Still good for 1 year from date of purchase.
