"Credit card authorisation has failed" error message

Hello, 

I bought a Garmin inReach Mini 2 recently for an upcoming solo hiking trip next week. However, I am stuck in the last step of the activation process where you need to enter a credit card to pay for the inReach subscription. I'm located in Europe, if this makes any difference. 

The following message keeps appearing both in the messenger app and on the website: your credit card authorisation has failed. Edit your credit card information and try again. 

I am 100% percent certain that my card information is correct, the below picture from my bank authorisation confirms this. I cannot figure out how to get around this issue? Has anyone had the same error message and found a solution?

I have tried contacting customer support but I'm not getting any response.
