inReach Mini 2 stuck at outdoor activation page with a message "Waiting for Response" for an hour. For the web registration I also bought the SAR 100 add on pack and received an email confirmation for that.

I purchased a used device and the on device registration has been stuck on the above message. I have placed the Garmin on the patio with clear view of the sky.

Also, I am unable to add the device on the app on my phone.

If you were able to successfully complete the activation process online and then have given the inReach Mini 2 access to an open view of the sky for at least 20 minutes but have not received the activation…

If you were able to successfully complete the activation process online and then have given the inReach Mini 2 access to an open view of the sky for at least 20 minutes but have not received the activation message on the device, we would recommend resetting the device and then testing again, again making sure that the device has an open view of the sky and allowing at least 20 minutes to receive the activation message. Full Reset of the inReach Mini 2

So last night I restarted my device and went through the registration steps again (device part) and in less than 5 minutes the activation was completed.
