Cant replay to SMS

Hello..

when my contacts receive preset sms they cant replay since the sender is always InfoSMS and replay blocked.. even when checking the link there is no option to send sms from website
is this carrier limitation filtering the inreach number ?! ..
hope there is a solution to make replaying possible other than giving each contact link to mapshare (want to keep record of points & tracking private)

Thanks for the replay.

I did check the link but I couldn't find anything related to the sms not being sent by infosms not regular number. Check screenshot attached. this is text i sent to my self to show you!!

I am not sure what infosms is. A message should not be send from the device using any other service than what we provide. Maybe I am not understanding how you are doing it. Can you provide maybe exact steps of what you are doing?

from device i send preset message to multiple contacts or via messenger app i send custom SMS to direct contact.. ofc i have no cellular coverage when doing so.. my contacts always receive short code sms from infosms that you cant replay like the screen attached previously

From our investigation, we have found that this 'infoSMS' sender that's showing up on the recipient(s) end appears to be due to a filter applied to prevent scams.

Unfortunately this isn't anything we have control over as it's applied by the cellular provider upon delivery of the message to the recipient.

We can only suggest the recipient(s) reach out to their cellular provider to see if there is a solution on their end to prevent this from happening. In the meantime, there are a couple ways to continue messaging this recipient(s):

Try to send messages without a Location Link to see if that is what's maybe causing the filter to "trigger" - Editing inReach SMS Message Coordinates, Map, and Signature Settings
Send email messages to this individual(s) instead
Use your MapShare page as a way to communicate with this individual(s) - Setting Up MapShare for the Montana 700i/750i
