Can anyone else confirm that when navigating to a waypoint, the compass bearing to that waypoint is incorrect when the north reference is set to magnetic north on the Inreach mini 2 and the Garmin explore app.

Has anyone noticed this software/firmware bug on the Inreach Mini 2 and the Garmin Explore app (or is it just me)? After changing the north reference (in settings) from true to magnetic north, the compass heading (in degrees) is incorrect when navigating to a waypoint. For example, in my part of the country, true north and magnetic north differ by 9 degrees. So the navigation bearing to a waypoint should change by 9 degrees when the north reference is changed from true to magnetic north. This doesn't happen in the the Inreach Mini 2 and the Garmin Explore apps, the compass bearing to the waypoint stays the same. Navigating to a waypoint only works correctly if you set the north reference to true north. If you change the north reference (in settings) to magnetic, your compass navigation heading to a waypoint will be off by an amount equal to the magnetic declination in your area of the country.
