Garmin Messenger App

If I loan my inreach mini 2 to a friend is there a way to stop them being able to see all my previous messages when they download and connect via the messenger app on their phone to the mini? Thanks

Can't think of any way to do this short of deleting the messages. This involves deleting them BOTH on the device itself and on the web at explore.garmin.com. If you only delete them on one end, the next sync is likely to restore them to other end. I believe you can delete entire threads on the device. But on the web, I think it's one at a time.

Hello Pete_dw Since they would need to be logging in using your account information to use the inReach services then they would see your messages as they would sync over to the app. Unless, you delete them as twolpert had mentioned. Lending an inReach Messenger Device. The other option would be you can cancel your service and let them activate it to their own account, however, this would involve quite a bit of activation fees and possbile cancellation fees.
