Text messages per freedom subscription plan?

Concerning the text messages per freedom subscription plan (10/40/unlimited):
Are these the no. of text messages for free per subscription plan (and more than that cost each some cent)?
Or are these the max. no. of messages per subscription plan (of which each costs something)?

  • Not clear on the question. At least in the US, there are two "subscription types" - freedom and annual. Within each of those two types, there are 3 different plans. The plans have the same limits no matter which subscription type you choose.

Each of the three plan types has different limits (and a different price). The number of text messages listed is the number of (monthly) messages included with the plan. Those have no extra cost. If you use more messages in a month, each additional message is charged at the rate shown under "Overage".

For example, the safety plan includes 10 messages per month. No additional charge for those. 50 cents for each message over 10. The recreation plan includes 40. No additional charge for those. 50 cents for each message over 40.

There is no maximum number of messages per month. You can send as many as you are willing to pay for.
