So your post is a bit confusing. The Connect app is not used with the Mini 2. And explore.garmin.com is the website-side of things, and for that to show battery your device would have to be transmitting data over the network all the time.
You should be using the Explore app, and possibly Messenger app, and I do believe it shows you battery status when the device is connected in Messenger.
But wouldn’t it be easier to just look at the device itself? I mean it has to be within BT range to show in an app anyway.
