Wich SOS is triggered by the Remote (watch)

If I use my Epix 2 as an remote for my newly bought Inreach 2 and need to trigger an SOS, do I need to use the control (widget) or can I long push the light button? In other words, is the SOS the light button triggers always going the cellular way or is the system smart enough to trigger an InReach SOS?

Hello BeneGi If you have the mini 2 connected to your epix 2 you would need to use the widget or the device to send the SOS. The Long push with the light button is a different feature of the watch that does not utilize the iridium SOS option.
