Upgrading From a Delorme InReach SE to Mini 2

I own a Delorme InReach SE that is about 8 years ago old. I was thinking about upgrading to a Mini 2. I don't use any of the tracking features. Just the satellite communication portion. Do you think I will notice any improvement in sending and receiving messages?

Good to know. I’ve replaced the battery so that’s not an issue. I thought maybe the newer models would speed up the send/receive. That saves me $400.

Not only will you see improvments with that but you will see better battery life and general usage overall with higher technology. What Is EPO or CPE on a Garmin Product?
