With the original InReach Mini 1, there was a distinction between log and send intervals and I could use just log intervals. Log interval determines how often the inReach records your GPS position. Log points collected by the inReach are NOT sent to your MapShare page or account via satellite communication. Which meant I could keep my routes but not pay on the Safety Subscription plan.
As far as I can tell, the only choice on the Mini 2 is to change tracking intervals. There is no log equivalent as distinct from track. If I start tracking will it charge me .15 cents every 10 minutes (or whatever I set)? In other words, on the safety plan that doesn't have unlimited tracking points, can I use my Mini 2 to keep my routes without sending to my contacts or paying? What i used to to with Mini 1 was set a high send interval and a low log interval so I'd get detailed maps but cheap. Trying to replicate on Mini2.
