additional PIN

I am just having hard time to set up messenger

One thing ist strange: when I aktivate the device and couple it with the phone and connect the messenger app to the phone number, all works apparently, but few minutes later I am getting an SMS with some PIN, however I have no idea whre to enter this pin

Can someone enlight me?

I guess the SMS is to verify your phone number with the Garmin Messenger app? Or have you already verified your phone number on the phone that you use with the Messenger?

first there is the PIn for the veryfication of the phone number, I can enter it (or copy paste) and it is accepted. Abt less then 1min later, again some similar pin arrives via SMS, with info that it will be valid for 5min

I did not find any use for that second pIN

I was doing lot of operations, factory reset and reactivation of devices and apps, and still I di dnot find the mystery
