Individual users may have more than one inReach satellite communicator on a Garmin Explore account. We offer this option as some users want the ability to switch between different inReach devices for different activities (e.g. inReach Mini handheld for backpacking and GPSMAP 86i handheld for boating). For families or groups of individuals who need to use devices simultaneously, the best option is to activate any additional inReach devices under their own Consumer account (one inReach device per Garmin Explore account). When doing this, keep in mind that each Garmin Explore account needs to be under a different email address.
