Have Active Freedom Plan, Pay Activation for New Plan?

Hello All,

I activated a freedom plan about a month ago; paid annual fee and monthly fee. If I change to one of the new plans today, do I pay the new activation fee in whole/prorated or not at all?

According to the info available from Garmin you do not need to pay the activation fee when changing your plan. In the new model the activation fee only needs to be paid when you have cancelled your existing plan and subscribe again.
