My Messenger battery dies when it sits for a month turned off. Is this normal?

I don't use my Messenger frequently, and every time I get it out the battery is completely dead. Is this normal? I generally don't use it for more than a day at a time and it works fine for tracking over the course of a day, but when it's turned off and sitting in a drawer, the battery drains away..

No, that is not normal. Are you sure that you have really turned the device off (and it isn´t accidentally only in standby mode)?

Hello, I want to verify that when you press and hold the power button you actually see the power icon shown on the screen and then the screen is blank? What are the dates around when the device would not have been used and was just in a drawer?

I have the same problem. Clearly turned off. Battery goes flat in a day or two. Not always, just sometimes.
