Not sending/receiving inreach.garmin.com messages after new phone

I've had an Inreach SE+ for years with many contacts that have worked fine.  I had to get a new iPhone 14 last week and set up the new device through the bluetooth settings and it is sending sms messages fine.  It is NOT sending messages inreach to inreach through the inreach.garmin.com email addresses.  I am using the Earthmate app.  Has anyone had this issue?  

  • Those look like email addresses but are not. If you are attempting to send using contacts, try it by typing the full inReach address manually. If that works, the problem is almost certainly that you need to sync (app to web site, then web site to phone). Sync and try using the contact again.

    If typing it manually does not work, or if that works but using a contact still fails after sync, open a support ticket.
