location request with messenger

I know this used to work, but it seldom works with any inreach meanwhile, with the messenger this seems not to work at all.

Did someone try to make a location request and had some success?

IMO, in general, location requests are useless. They frequently do not work at all. Even when they do work, it takes a long time.

Can't say I've ever tried it with iRM. Best bet would be to open a support ticket. Based on forum feedback, there do seem to a few things that do not work properly with iRM. This might be one of them.
