Ok, have ordered one in the shop. Meanwhile I really don’t need it anymore, because I have many alternatives. But I am just curious. And the price is surprisingly acceptable…

A️nd it took them only 3 years to finally release this mount. Amazing performance!
BTW: there is also already 3 party stuff (more attachment components- possibilities /more expensive):
This 3 party one looks like, that you can put it on a standard bike mount (etc) for an gpsmap/mini 2.
Unfortunately I haven’t found a pic from the backside of the Garmin M/M+ mount so far. I hope the backside it developed similar to the one on the 3 party mount pic above. Will report after I have received it.
