How can I set the hike activity to plan along the road and the geocaching activity to plan in a straight line?

It keeps the last selection of the Routing option, even if you switch activities. So if you load a Course and had Routing set to On previously it will still be on, even if you switched to a different activity…

Does the last selected route plan apply to all activities?

It keeps the last selection of the Routing option, even if you switch activities. So if you load a Course and had Routing set to On previously it will still be on, even if you switched to a different activity.

On the other hand, you can easily toggle the Routing option when loading the course, only downside is that the device is somewhat slow to react when it's calculating a route.

Thank you. This is another error: if I change the type of routing during navigation, unfortunately the H1 forgets the destination or freezes.
