Up ahead does not show locations

I created a course in Garmin Explore and included course points. In a Fenix they show up in the up ahead menu. In the H1 the up ahead function shows only turn points. The H1 manual states, "select to view information about upcoming locations" . In German it is even more clear. The name of the glance (or app?) is "POI entlang der Route".

Am I doing something wrong? Shouldn't I expect turn points (names of streets) AND Poin Of Interest (course points)?

I guess you have Routing set to On when you navigate the course?

Is this happening in the automotive navigation or in another navigation menu? When did you first notice this happening?

So far I only use the hiking activity.. When using Garmin Connect for creating a course, I get same result. The menu shows only streets, but no water supply etc.

I'm seeing that when I have Routing turned Off, the Up Ahead app shows the course points in the course and on the Map, but when I set Routing to On, the Up Ahead app only shows the turn-by-turn instructions but no course points and the Course Point aren't shown on the map either.

So it seems that Routing set to On just ignores the course points altogether.

thank you. I will try with routing off.. Fenix 8 makes it the other way round, where you see the POI when routing is set to follow route..
