Hello everyone,
I own a Garmin H1i Plus with an active inReach Plus (top tier) subscription, purchased mainly to test all its features.
The device is fully updated to the latest available firmware.
One of the first tests I did was to check the standby battery life. By this I mean: the device is powered on, all satellites are connected, the screen is off 99% of the time, no activity is started — basically just turned on.
Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are disabled.
The messaging service is set to Performance mode to reduce battery consumption.
Despite all this, the device did not last more than 4 days while turned on.
Is this normal, or am I doing something wrong?
If I were to start an activity recording or connect an HRM sensor, battery life would probably drop dramatically.
Thanks in advance for any feedback
