the manual states "you can use the Garmin ExploreTm app to group related waypoints, courses, or activities into collections. You can show or hide the data in each collection on the device"

Does that mean, that I can see on the map really only the waypoints of collections which I switch on/off? Can I really have a large number of waypoints, but see only the few which are in switched on collection?

    I briefly tried the Collections functionality on my H1, but I didn't see any effect of enabling and disabling collections.

    All saved data items seem to be in the primary collection (not sure if that's the correct name, don't have my device at hand), even though I've added some items to specific collections. The primary collection is always enabled, so the saved data app always seems to show all items.

    Maybe it will work when you configure Explore to only sync specific collections instead of all items, but I didn't try that yet.
