They are probably currently on Christmas and New Years Holiday in the US. Many companies will close down during this time or run a "skeleton crew" (minimal staff). I wouldn't expect any firmware updates or the like until after New Years. Email responses to tech support questions may be available as well as direct phone support but I would think this forum would be at the bottom of the list of priorities at this time. Garmin doesn't seem to be very active here in the first place and being on holiday, their presence here will be even less (if at all). Maybe contact Garmin support directly at:
