cannot delete track

Sometimes I cannot delete a track on my Garmin GPSMap 67i? All tracks in are removed from my GPS, but still there is one visible. The track is visible in BaseCamp where I can remove it with the GPS attached.

Is it possible that what you are seeing is an activity rather than a track? If so, it would need to be deleted from Recorded Activities, rather than Saved Tracks. (BaseCamp doesn't distinguish between tracks and activities, so it would just show it as a track.)

Chris, thank you for your reply. It might be that this is the issue, I have reset the device to remove all the data in the meantime that solves is for me, but far from ideal. I must say that Garmin is not very consistent in naming of tracks, routes, activities etc. among the different devices. Especially the translation from English into Dutch makes it a real puzzle now and then.

If you take that into account, the naming on the device will seem much more clear and consistent.
