GPSMAPS 67i street maps gome after update

Hello all

I recently bought the GPSMAPS 67i, did not get a subscription yet (planning for later).

When i got the unit, my area showed all streets and details of my town. Map data was 2020.

After I updated the unit (computer with garmin express, and then through wifi) and downloaded the updated map, I only have the topo map, the city is marked as a dot but no details whatsoever - no streets, nothing.

Any thoughts ? What's going on ?

Please help.

Are you sure the map TopoActive map is enabled? You can check via pressing Menu on the Map page and selecting Map layers and making sure TopoActive is enabled.

What has changed though is that building details on the map have become part of Outdoor Maps+ and are not more present in the regular TopoActive maps.

However you can also load maps from other providers than Garmin on the unit. There are several free openstreetmap based map like Freizeitkarte, Speichenkarte, Alternativaslibres, etc. or paid options like TalkyToaster.
