Enabled Map Layers not remembered?

Could anyone with an Outdoor Maps+ subscription verify the following?

The enabled map layers are not persisted across a power off and power on of my GPSMAP (firmware version 8.80). So for example I have Buildings layer and TopoActive layer enabled. I power off the device, and then power it back on again. Only the TopoActive layer is enabled, the Building layer is disabled.

Not sure if this was introduced with 8.80 or that previous firmware versions had this as well.

I'm having the same issue with my 67i on the same software version. I seem to remember the layers being retained after a power down so it seems to be a software issue. I hope the fix it soon...annoying to have to always re-apply the layers I prefer to keep.

I just plugged my 67i into Express again and there was an additional update to 8.90 and this update seems to have fixed the issue!
