Etyp update file?

Garmin Express and Explore app show an update called 'Etyp' for my GPSMAP 67 series. Anyone have an idea what this file is and what purpose it serves? The filename after installation is da699000c.sid.

    Ok did a bit more digging into this, and it looks like an update to the map theme?

    TopoActive maps look different, for example cycleways and trails are displayed using a dashed red line now. 

    When I rename the file I get the old map theme, with the file present I get the changed map theme.

     is this correct and do you maybe have more info on this change? Thanks!

    EDIT: and there seems to be a bug that after enabling and disabling maps the styling of the map does not change to the correct styling for the selected map. A restart of the device fixes this. So: enable 3rd party map (eg TalkyToaster via Map Manager), change to TopoActive, change back to 3rd party map. The 3rd party map is displayed with a different styling than before switching to TopoActive.
