How much to activate Enabled?

I was thinking of cancelling my Safety Annual Plan since Garmin has announced there is no early exit fee (I’m 6 months in) and it’s getting no use at the moment.

I have the option of moving to the £7.99 month Enabled plan and then later back to Essentials which would avoid any additional activation fees. Or, I can cancel now and resubscribe when needed next spring. I can see that there would be a £39.99 activation fee at that time for the Essentials plan. But how much is the activation fee just to resubscribe to the Enabled ‘pay as you go’ plan? Is that £39.99 also?

If you resubscribe after cancelling, you can only choose between the Essential, Standard or Premium plan. You cannot subscribe directly into Enabled, you need at least one month in one of the "regular" plans.

The activation fee for a new subscription or for resubscribing after cancelling is £39.99, irregardless what plan (Essential, Standard, Premium) you subscribe to.

Thank you. I just realised that was the limitation. Enabled is only a downgrade option. Not a sign up one. Thanks for confirming.
