Consumer inreach plans

Question Garmin. I’m on the annual safety plan. So I don’t have to migrate over to a new plan. But when my current plan comes up for its annual renewal, will it just roll over and continue as is at the current rate or will I then have to chose a new plan? I’m unsure.

Once the one-year contract has been met, your service is not terminated as these are safety devices. The plan will renew every month until you cancel. Existing customers with inReach Annual Contract subscription…

As I read it from the FAQ you stay in your current annual plan until you change to a different plan. But would be nice to have confirmation on this from Garmin.

Yes it looks that way too when I check my plan. It says renewing Oct.4/2024, I guess I’ll find out soon. Next year? Who knows.

Existing customers with inReach Annual Contract subscription plans will not be migrated into new plans, and can remain in their current plan unless they choose to change it. There are no early cancellation fees if you choose to change to a new plan, but you will not be able to return to your previous plan once it has been changed.
