Altimeter Auto calibration v 8.5

My atitude measured by my gps67 was about 33 meters.

In order to auto calibrate I enter a wrong value for example 290 meters and wait for auto calibrate versus GPS value.

Here is the curve of my experiment.

I think it is a very long time ore than 2 hours to get the good value.

I think there is something wrong...

Not sure why you’d calibrate manually to an incorrect value? So I think your example is a bit contrived and not a scenario that happens in the real world.

And to prevent confusion about terminology, the GPSMAP displays elevation (earth’s surface) not altitude (above earth’s surface).
