Does anyone know anything about firmware version 8.3? Why was 8.5 released a short time later?

8.5 fixed things not fixed in 8.3, I guess but your guess as to all that got fixed in 8.5 is probably just as good as your neighbours,Some time zone changes but other than that I don’t think anyone really knows other than Garmin.They just don’t seem to fully share all the details. We just keep on beta testing these devices for them, hoping they improve.

Got it from Garmin Support via chat.

It’s a shame Garmin hasn’t posted the release notes in this forum. And Garmin Express doesn’t show them either (at least for me).
