GPSMAP 67i navigation

Hi,

I can't get the 67i to give turn notifications when navigating a route.

The file from the connect app has the turn navigation activated and it gives turn notifications on my fenix watch.

Is there a setting on the device that needs turning on to get this to work?

What do you have configured for the setting Course Navigation? See Main Menu > Setup > Routing > Course Navigation. If this is set to Direct Path, the GPSMAP 67i will act like you are following a track, ie without giving turn notifications. You could try setting this to Roads&Trails to see if this gives you the correct turn notifications.

But in my experience using Courses with Roads&Trails navigation is very unpredictable and finnicky. As an alternative you could try converting the course to a route (go to Main Menu > Course Planner, select the Course, press Menu, select Save as Route) and then navigate from that Route instead of the Course.
