Rendezvous Location In Reach

Hey wanted to see if it was possible to send a location that isn't your current position to another inreach device.

For example if I have a marker on my device is there any way I can select that marker and somehow send the location of that marker within a message?

Hello, If you have the device paired to the messenger app as well as the explore app when selecting a referemce point on the map in the explore app it will give you the option to share the reference point…

I think you need only a bt connection phone/Explore app: 67i for sending the message via app/67i to the recipient.

Works with 66i, mini 2 (no 67i here for testing it), not with Messenger because of lack of navigation functionality.

Do you get the reference point info (“ a reference point…”) only if a 67i is paired? I don’t see the info for my 66i nor my mini2 with the Explore app.

Surely this requires some sort of phone signal however? This can't be possible with just GPS messaging right?

Currently it is not possible to send through the device directly unless you manually type in the coordinates in a message to send to another device or contact. I have sent you a message to get a bit more infomation and I'd like to create a case to have this looked into further.
