Rendezvous Location In Reach

I am not aware that 67i or other iR devices have that functionality- except you have to enter the coordinates manually. You should suggest this as an improvement to add.

Is this other inreach device yours or a friends and are you going to be close to each other’s device or far away?

Device A will be with me

Device B will be with the friend and they will be far away (not within bluetooth or wifi range)

Well you can send a message from one inreach to another using the inreach email address, so maybe you can share your location using mapshare to another inreach as well but I don’t think you can transfer data from one unit to another unless they are side by side, then you could use the Ant+ feature. I think you’re going to have to send those co ordinates in message form.

Is the 67i compatible with the Explore app? If yes: workaround:

open the Explore app, tab on the map location (you want to send), you get this screen:

Have entered one address. Type somethink as a message, the location you have chosen will be added, but you see that first after sending it.

But I think the recipient has only the possibility to write the coordinates down and enter them manually. Not very user friendly out in the fields…Will try later to send the message from a mini 2 via Explore app to an 66i iR address and have a look, what can be done.

Tried it with a different location and on the 66i you can see and navigate to the send location.

I think you need only a bt connection phone/Explore app: 67i for sending the message via app/67i to the recipient.

Works with 66i, mini 2 (no 67i here for testing it), not with Messenger because of lack of navigation functionality.
