Device locks up when scrolling datum or position.

Just wondering if someone can confirm this condition. When scrolling quickly using the up or down keys, selecting either map datum or position format the device will lock up and the only way out of it is to reboot the device. You need to hold the up or down key in the pressed position so it scrolls quickly on its own. Scrolling up or down. It may seem trivial, but it’s still a bug.

Yes I can reproduce this is well, after having pressed the up or down button for some time, and the selection is not yet at the beginning or end of the list, the selection stops scrolling and the device doesn't respond anymore.

Ok thanks, I know it’s not something that a person is going to do a lot, but it still should work. These devices aren’t cheap and everything should work. I’ll call Garmin on it. Thanks for checking.

I know Jim, me too, and the more you mess with some things, the more you can mess them up. Anyway I reported it to Garmin and they too could duplicate it, and opened a ticket on it.

Hi Leslie, check with Martin on your support team, he was able to duplicate it.
