how to get a dashboard with only 2 small data fields?

I am new to the 67i but have used an etrex for years. I am looking to have only 2 small data fields on the dashboard. I can get it to 4 but cant figure out how to get it down to 2? If I set the data field to "none" with a 4 square dashboard for the bottom two I get two grey squares. I am after more map space and dont need big data fields.

A 2 small data field option for the dashboard is not available. It has been a much requested addition but Garmin hasn’t implemented it yet.

Thanks very much - ok I can stop banging my head against this one then. I really hope they add this sometime soon!

You can submit product ideas to Garmin via this form: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/forms/ideas/

Not sure if they will do anything with it (I never got a response on ideas I submitted), but the more people report the better!

Have exactly the same issue, which is how I came across this. I have also put in a request.

Older models had it. But then older models had other good features that Garmin removed as well.
