Firmware Revision 6.60

Does anyone know what "Fixed potential issues with expedition mode," means in the 6.60 update? Some of the suggestions I've made regarding expedition mode would be hard to check through experimentation.

One of the issues that seems to be fixed is that the recording interval always reverted to 10 mins after turning off and on the device even though a different value was selected.

Thanks, JungleJim. That's good to know. Because of the application expedition mode was meant for, bugs can escape notice until it's too late.

The release was 9 days ago but the device and Garmin express still indicate I am on the latest version at 5.90. Is everyone updated or are they still in progress? Not that I necessarily need it but would like the latest version.

I noticed the same delay in Garmin Express revision. It later showed ver. 6.60. I suspect Garmin modified Express recently so that it shows the last version completely installed on the device. A new version isn't really installed until the device installs it after it's been transferred to the device.

Sometimes Garmin rolls out updates incrementally. It will show up eventually.
