Device software 5.30

Yesterday Garmin Express offered device software 5.30 for my GPSMAP 67 series unit. Unfortunately no changelog in Garmin Express, again...

I guess it will fall on deaf ears here, but Garmin can you please change the current policy of not disclosing changelogs until full roll out has completed? At least make it so that the changelogs are shared in Garmin Express.

I doubt that this is going to change. Since the forums are not an official support channel, the most effective thing to do is to open a support ticket. Support will tell you "by design". But it's a vote in favor of change.

Alternatively, you can request the "enhancement" here: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/forms/ideas/

Either way, Garmin moves extremely slowly with an change they DO accept.

I doubt it as well, but still can't hurt to share my thoughts :) I already submitted an enhancement, but I have never had any reply on ideas submitted to Garmin.

What baffles me is that for many other devices (Edge, smart watches, etc) Garmin does share release notes as soon as the update is released. So I do not understand why there should be a different policy for GPSMAP 67 series devices...
