Is the iPad the only device your GPSMAP is paired to? If not you might want to remove the pairing with other devices.
If the iPad is the only device, you might want to try unpairing and repairing with the Explore app again.
I was trying to use two iPads. I completely wiped one of the iPads, however things just don’t seem to sync. I would like to be able to watch my progress while transferring data from my 66 I to my iPad. It will do it for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then it quits. It just has me puzzled. John.
I would suggest starting fresh.
Unpair your “phone” from the GPSMAP (see Menu > Setup > Bluetooth). Remove the GPSMAP from the Explore app on your iPad. Remove the GPSMAP from the list of Bluetooth devices in the Bluetooth settings on the iPad. Turn your iPad off and on again, same for GPSMAP. Pair your GPSMAP to your iPad via the Explore app.
This should get syncing between Explore on the iPad and the GPSMAP working again.
I think the GPSMAP can only be paired to a single phone or iPad, so I’m not sure you can use it way two iPads without having to unpair and re-pair.
The GPSMAP 66i can only be paired with one phone or tablet at a time. If you are having trouble syncing with the Garmin Explore app, see My Garmin Handheld is Not Syncing or Staying Connected to the Garmin Explore App.
