g3 only or g3 Vision for GPSMap 86i? + app to show the purchased g3 map on phone?

Hi,

Sorry if I write here with an 86i question but email can take a bit of time compared a community Slight smile

  • Does the 86i device support g3 Vision or only g3?

    If I understood the following correct, https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=xRlMwaRfg8182UzTFp3nY5&identifier=662559&tab=topics , it is supported. But I also read a comment from a gps reviewer saying g3 vision is NOT possible with the handheld GPSMAP 86i, only g3.

    Which one is it?

  • If I purchase a g3 or g3 vision map for my GPSMap 86i device, and would like to view the same map and control it on my touchphone ... Is there an app for that that sync them together in that way?
